Is this legal advice?
No. SafetyManual.io builds programs from your answers and a library of regulations maintained by safety professionals. You stay responsible for compliance, and you confirm that before you see your results. For a professional check, add review and sign-off.
Are ISO and ANSI standards required by law?
Usually not. We label them as best practice. They become requirements only when a regulation incorporates them, or when a contract, a client or your own policy adopts them.
My state runs its own OSHA program. Is that covered?
Yes. When you pick a State Plan state, we add the rules that state adds or tightens, such as California's Injury and Illness Prevention Program or Washington's Accident Prevention Program.
Why is this a subscription?
Federal rules change slowly, but State Plans add their own rules, big changes phase in over years, and many programs come with deadlines that repeat every year. Your subscription tracks all of it and puts each deadline on your calendar.
Can I edit the manual?
Yes. Export to Word and PDF, or edit and regenerate sections in SafetyManual.io with a full version history.
